EGYPT

Egypt has one of the highest populations in Africa. Egypt covers 386,560 square miles. 78 million people live in a 15,000 square mile are near the Nile. That's alot of people! And that is definitely something that struck me while visiting....the dense population. The Sahara Desert spreads over much of the region and it contains few inhabitants. But within this vast area, lie the ruins of some of the most fascinating people, lives and events in history. I don't know anyone who isn't intrigued with Egyptians, pyramids, mummies, Cleopatra, the Nile, etc. And a visit here makes it all the more intoxicating.
