TURKEY
Turkey is "transcontinental", meaning, it shares borders with two continents: Europe and Asia. Istanbul is the location bridging these two continents, meaning you could easy be in two different continents within a few minutes. Since it borders two continents, Turkey has a cool blend of the two....a real "East Meets West" flair. There are over 72.5 million residents here, spread across the countries 300,000 square miles. A lot of people for a fantastic place. I am taken with Turkey, its people, its culture, its architecture, sights, smells, sounds....it's all glorious. And when you hear the sound of Call To Prayer over the mosques throughout Turkey, you get goosebumps each and every time. Turkey is high on my list of "must-sees".
