SWITZERLAND

For some reason, Switzerland just hasn't been high on our list of places to visit. It's so close to us (just a few hours), but for some reason, we opt for other areas. Well, with Christine's mom, Stephanie, visiting (and her fond memories from her visit 25 years ago), we decided to make a quick trip down for the weekend. So glad we did! It is just as one would expect: pricey watch shops on every corner, clean air and clear lakes, vibrant flowers, snow capped mountains, cows donning painted bells around their necks and a strong desire to hike in the hills. Looking forward to another visit, but hopefully one that includes plenty of hiking...it's almost a sin not to take advantage of the natural beauty that exists here!
