LEVOCA, SLOVAKIA
AUGUST 2007
This was my first visit to Slovakia and it was not at all what I expected. The countryside is littered with castle remains and the Spis region, where Levoca sits, is rural loveliness. There isn't alot going on here, but it's quaint, quiet and picturesque. It was the ideal location for us to chill out and regain some energy between our drive from Krakow, Poland to Vienna, Austria. And holy macaroni...was it inexpensive!
