PORTUGAL

So underrated! Somehow, when one thinks of Europe and all that it offers, Portugal is forgotten...left either unmentioned or shrugged off. Why ,oh why, oh why! This is one of the most beautiful countries with some of the greatest people. We spent the week of Christmas 2006 just outside of Lisbon and LOVED IT! We like it so much, we are aiming to make this our annual Christmas excursion. You've got the beach, you've got the country, you've got the city, you've got the wine country and you've got little tourism. This keeps costs low and guarantees a good time. Portugal is addicting....one visit will get you hook, line and sinker!
