SACILE, ITALY

Sacile, Italy is an extremely small village about 1 hour northwest of Venice.  It is known as "Little Venice", as the village features many canals that meander throughout this little town.  The town features 10 bridges throughout the town that cross the canals.  The village is stunningly beautiful and quite old.  The city is site to some Roman ruins on the backside of the San Gregorio church.  During the early 1800's, Napoleon waged a battle here, the Battle of Sacile.
