OUR HOUSE

We moved to Steinwenden-Weltersbach, Germany (1 mile from Ramstein or Landstuhl, 15 miles from Kaiserslautern) in November 2005 and I am just now putting up photos of where we live. Better late than never. It's taken us some time to get furniture for the place, as we had to rid ourselves of almost all our belonging prior to coming abroad (weight limit). IKEA has provided a temporary fix to our temporary housing.

For those of you who lived in Europe at one time or another, you'll fondly recall the brilliancy of wallcolors. And for those of you who are truly American (and don't meander past cocoa and eggshell in paint colors)...hold on to your seats! The bright colors in our home help keep a bit of cheer through the winter days, but I'll surely embrace the earthtones in my American self upon our return to the US.
